I started using KISSlicer sometime in mid 2012 and got my PRO license in March, 2013. From the very beginning, it was love at first slice and I've been a KISSlicer advocate ever since. I've had the great fortune to work with Jonathan as a tester, sounding board, and sanity checker. The pioneering work he's done with KISSlicer and the "firsts" he's implemented are exceptional. The new version 1.6 Preload feature may be his greatest slicer contribution yet, it is simply amazing.

KISSlicer is simply the best slicer we have tested. The GUI is maybe not the best (yet), but the G-codes generated ARE the best on the market and KISSlicer has been offering for months (or in some cases years) features that are only now appearing among competitors.
KISSlicer never crashes, reads all STLs even if they are degraded or damaged, slices very quickly, and offers comprehensive Raft and Support options. KISSlicer is the most complete and I do not know of a blocking bug! Jonathan has done a fantastic job on version 1.6, it's a real pleasure to work with him and try to help him. It is rare to see so "open minded" a developer. Congratulations Jonathan! |
